What is a zine?

A zine or a “fanzine/fan magazine” is a themed collection of works (writing, art, merch) made by fans for other fans.

Is this zine for profit or charity?

This zine is for profit.

What is the age requirement for applying for this zine?

Applicants must be 16 or older when applying.

Is there a theme for this zine?

Yes! The theme is gothic.

Are AUs allowed for the zine piece?

AUs will be discussed on a case-by-case basis during the Pitching phase of the zine!

Will content that applicants create outside of the zine affect their acceptance?

So long as your conduct is respectful, we do not care what ships, characters, etc. you enjoy or what content you have created. No discrimmination, bullying, threatening or abuse of any form will be tolerated in the zine.

How many contributors are you accepting?

Contributor numbers will depend on interest check results and the number of applications we receive. This section will be updated at a later date.

Will previous experience be needed in order to apply?

You need not have previous experience with zines to apply!

Can I post WIPs, stream, or sell the work I create for this zine?

Throughout the creation phase, contributors will not be allowed to reveal anything for the zine, including your own WIPs, outside of the zine server. Further instructions will be given on when WIPs and previews can be shared to help promote the zine closer to the pre-order period.Contributors will be able to post, sell and distribute their work as they see fit after the hold period towards the end of the project.

Will other characters be allowed in my piece?

Other characters will be allowed, but only platonically and the central character must, of course, be Sunday.

How will contributors be compensated?

All profits will first go towards covering production. We will guarantee a free digital PDF and any copies of any digital merch. If profits allow, we will first aim to provide a free physical copy + shipping to contributors, then work towards a full bundle. Any remaining funds will be split among the whole team through Paypal*.Contributor copies will be prioritized over mod copies.Remaining funds will be split as follows:
❃ 1% per promo artist (capped at 5%)
❃ Remaining to be split equally amongst mods and contributors^* Paypal's age limit is 18+, if you are under 18 and are accepted, you may ask for a parent or guardian to accept the compensation on your behalf, accept merch for the same amount of compensation, or give up your compensation percentage.

Kyrie Eleison is an unofficial, for-profit fanzine focused on the (former) head of the Oak Family, Sunday. The title, a petition for mercy, reflects Sunday's mission and earnest wish for a kinder world.The zine will feature a collection of fanworks that explore Sunday's devotion, sacrifice, and beliefs, the events leading up to his untimely fall from grace, and ultimately, a new beginning for his journey.Let us weave this sweet dream together.
